Two things exist on Repackify: people, who sign in, and companies, which own listings, quotes and orders. Everything you can do in the dashboard follows from which company you belong to and what that company has done on the platform.
Signing in
- Sign in and Sign up use the same hosted sign-in; email and password or a one-time code by email.
- A seller who listed from the sell page gets their account when they open the one-time link in the confirmation email; the listing is claimed at the same time.
- Signing in from a link to a page that needs an account returns you to that page. A sign-in that started anywhere else lands on the dashboard.
- Signing in from a quote email claims that quote for the company of whoever signs in, not only the address it was sent to. Treat the link as the credential: do not forward a quote email, and open it from the account that should own the quote.
Companies
Company membership is the boundary: a member sees the company’s orders, quotes, listings and billing, and nothing of any other company’s. Buyer and seller are not roles a person holds; they are sides of a transaction, and one company can be on both.

You choose Buyer or Vendor when you first set the company up, and that choice decides what the dashboard shows from day one. A buyer-only company can turn on Inventory later from the home page; a billing manager makes that change. Company and Help are always present.
What each side sees on an order
- The buyer sees the delivery address and contact, and buyer prices.
- The seller sees the pickup address and contact, and seller prices.
- Neither sees the other’s contact, prices or margin. The one exception is a customer pickup, where the buyer’s fulfilment block carries the seller’s pickup address, but not the contact.
Where things live
- Orders: the one list of every request, quote and order, buyer or seller side.
- Opportunities: buyer requests near a seller. Buyer requests themselves are in Orders.
- Settings: profile, security, saved addresses, notifications, privacy.
- Company: team members, locations, preferences.
- Billing: the overview is open to everyone on the team. Invoices, payment methods, payouts and plans need a company owner, admin or accounting role, and which of them appear also depends on what the company is set up to do.
