Used Moving Boxes

A used moving box has been through more than one move or a long spell in storage. Expect layered tape, marker writing, scuffed faces and some softening at the edges. It still closes and holds its shape, with no tears through the wall and no water damage.

What sets it apart from like-new is variation. One box may be almost as firm as new while the next has a bottom that was once wet or corners that fold under load, so sorting on arrival matters more than the grade name.

Used boxes suit light, bulky contents such as linens, clothing and bedding, and storage. Avoid them for books, dishes and electronics, where a failed bottom seam means breakage.
