Used Shipping Boxes

A used shipping box has made one or more trips and shows it: layers of tape, old labels, scuffed faces and some softening at the edges. It still closes, stands square when assembled and has no wet damage or tears through the wall.

The step down from like-new is in strength as much as looks. Each trip and each stack compresses the corrugated, and a box that has been damp stays weaker after it dries. Grade the lot by squeezing corners and checking bottoms before loading anything heavy.

Used boxes suit storage, moves, internal shipments and palletized freight where the boxes are stretch-wrapped together as one unit. Keep them away from heavy single parcels in carrier networks and from shipments going to a customer.
